The fastest way is inside the app. Open ADL and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to type your registered email address to confirm. Deletion happens immediately — there is nothing to wait for and no request to send.
If you cannot sign in, or you prefer to ask us to do it, send an email to the address below instead. Please use the same email address that is registered with your ADL account so we can verify your identity.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your notes, folders, saved references, contracts, and stored files are end-to-end encrypted: we only ever hold them as ciphertext we cannot read, and deletion removes that ciphertext entirely. Files are the one part of your data that is stored as objects rather than database rows, so we record every one of your objects at the moment of deletion and delete them from storage — a deletion that is retried until it is confirmed, rather than assumed. Cancelling a subscription first is not required — but note that deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, otherwise it keeps renewing.
Some data is stored locally on your device and is not kept on our servers. This data is not affected by a server-side account deletion:

To remove all local data, simply uninstall the ADL app from your device.
We do not retain your personal data after deletion is complete. Deleting in the app takes effect immediately; an emailed request is completed within 30 days of verification. There is no additional retention period beyond that. Residual copies may persist briefly in our providers' encrypted infrastructure backups before they are overwritten, and we may keep a minimal record where the law requires it. We run no analytics or tracking, so there is no usage profile of you to retain in the first place.

ملاحظاتك ومجلداتك ومراجعك المحفوظة وعقودك وملفاتك المخزَّنة مشفَّرة من طرف إلى طرف: فنحن لا نحتفظ بها إلا كنصّ مشفَّر لا نستطيع قراءته، والحذف يزيل ذلك النص المشفَّر بالكامل. والملفات هي الجزء الوحيد من بياناتك المخزَّن ككائنات لا كسجلات في قاعدة بيانات، لذلك نُحصي كل كائن من كائناتك لحظة الحذف ونحذفه من التخزين — حذفٌ يُعاد المحاولة فيه حتى يتأكّد، لا حذفٌ نفترض حدوثه. ولا يُشترط إلغاء الاشتراك أولاً — لكن انتبه إلى أن حذف حسابك لا يُلغي اشتراكاً تُحصّله Apple أو Google. ألغِه من إعدادات حسابك في App Store أو Google Play، وإلا فسيستمر في التجديد.
بعض البيانات تُخزَّن محلياً على جهازك ولا تُحفظ على خوادمنا. وهذه البيانات لا يطالها حذف الحساب من جهة الخادم:

ولإزالة كل البيانات المحلية، يكفي إلغاء تثبيت تطبيق «عدل» من جهازك.
لا نحتفظ ببياناتك الشخصية بعد اكتمال الحذف. الحذف من داخل التطبيق يسري فوراً؛ أما الطلب المرسَل بالبريد الإلكتروني فيُنجَز خلال 30 يوماً من التحقّق. ولا توجد أي مدة احتفاظ إضافية بعد ذلك. وقد تبقى نسخ متبقّية لفترة وجيزة في النسخ الاحتياطية المشفَّرة لدى مزوّدي البنية التحتية قبل أن يُعاد استبدالها، وقد نحتفظ بحدّ أدنى من السجلات حيث يفرض القانون ذلك. ونحن لا نشغّل أي أدوات تحليلات أو تتبّع، فلا يوجد أصلاً ملفّ استخدام عنك لنحتفظ به.
